Emma Sheridan works as a freelance designer and illustrator from her studio in Dublin. In her illustrations, she melds street style, high fashion and pop culture to create colourful, free and quirky drawings.
She has worked with designers, magazine and brands from the UK, New York and Milan.
In this show, Emma exhibits a series of figurative sketches drawing from autobiographical events of her experience living with mental health issues, OCD, PTSD and Depression. In her work, she explored personal feelings of fear and awkwardness these illnesses have left her with.
This is the story of her alter ego “The Jelly Shooter” unfolding in a collection of humorous paintings following her adventures through a disproportionate world.
