Loving Vincent (NGI) – SOLD OUT

January 18 @ 6:00 pm

€12 - €15

This event is sold out but please note there is another screening in Triskel Arts Centre and a number of other great events on in the National Gallery of Ireland, for more info visit nationalgallery.ie

As part of our collaboration with the National Gallery of Ireland (NGI), a special screening of Loving Vincent, the fully
painted animated feature, starring Saoirse Ronan will take place in the inspiring surroundings of the Gallery during the
festival. Loving Vincent explores the life and controversial death of Vincent Van Gogh, told by his paintings and by the
characters that inhabit them. Screening takes place in the NGI Lecture Theatre followed by a post show discussion
featuring speakers from the film, gallery and the festival.

A drinks reception in the stunning NGI courtyard will round off the evening’s proceedings.

*Please note Loving Vincent will also be shown in Triskel Arts Centre, Cork – visit TRISKELARTSCENTRE.IE for tickets

For this year’s festival, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Ireland (NGI) we have developed
a new programme; heARTS & Minds, specifically designed to support the ethos of First Fortnight.
Key works in the National Collection, which address the subject of mental health, have been selected to
inform a dedicated series of activities and encourage artworks and artists to be considered in a new
light. This programme has been curated to include something for all ages and comprises both free and
ticketed activities including a special trail of the selected artworks, guided tours, workshops,
talks and more.
