Art In Mind- Wire Sculpture Workshop
As part of the First Fortnight festival and in association with Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture, Art In Mind will host a very special workshop facilitated by sculptor Glenn Gibson. The workshop will be engaging and participatory with the focus being on creative collective working in a calm, relaxing space. Each participant will get to learn some basic techniques in wire sculpture and will make their own small piece to take home from the workshop.
Art In Mind a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping communities discover the positive mental health benefits of creating art together. They have developed a socially innovative, community outreach project exploring interconnectedness in a society that is increasingly isolating.
