Sun 17 Jan- Post Show Discussion will follow performance

Sunday, January 17, 8.30pm:

Nicole Rourke (writer/performer) and Deirdre Molloy (director) share the development of Baggage from the initial concept to a 20-minute piece created for the Electric Picnic festival in 2016, and finally to a full play commissioned by SoloSIRENS in 2019. They will explore the various aspects and challenges of making a solo show, and what they discovered in the process of unpacking the stories that became Baggage. They will also discuss the crucial role festivals like First Fortnight and SoloSIRENs played in supporting the journey.
