This year’s edition of Cistin will be hosted by renowned spoken word artist and First Fortnight ambassador, Stephen James Smith.

Joining the lineup will include West Cork singersongwriter Matilda O’Mahony, Glasgow spoken word artist, Leyla Josephine and Liverpool based composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Úna Quinn, whose most recent music fuses a contemporary electronic approach to music production with a folk sensibility. She will be accompanied by critically acclaimed  multi-instrumentalist Neil Campbell. Mongoose are returning to captivate the audience again with their jaw dropping harmonies after receiving acclaim for their album Suck The Wound which saw the jazz-infused folk-pop group take their expansive, cinematic sound into brand new dimensions. Stephen Maguire is an Actor, Playwright and Spoken word artist from Dublin. His debut Play “NOEL” won the “Outstanding Theatre” award at The Galway Fringe Festival 2018. Stephen is currently working on his debut poetry book which is due for release later this year.
