First Fortnight Mullingar
First Fortnight arrives in Mullingar for an unmissable night of mental health talks, graffiti and live music, involving some of the town’s best local talent. There will be speakers from Little Things, the HSE’s mental health campaign and safeTALK, the HSE’s suicide alertness for everyone training programme.

First Fortnight arrives in Mullingar for an unmissable night of mental health talks, graffiti and live music, involving some of the town’s best local talent. There will be speakers from Little Things, the HSE’s mental health campaign and safeTALK, the HSE’s suicide alertness for everyone training programme.
Ricotta Rojo are a three-piece band who will flip your world into a craze of rumbling rhythms. Their blend of blues, funk and rock will be tempered by the swing and jazz of the Clara Swing Band.
They are followed by the 20-strong Mullingar PCC Choir, made up of local health workers from Mullingar Primary Care Centre.
Bobby & The Blunts are a Mullingar four-piece funk rock band who aim to ‘play music that makes you feel good and boogie’. They have played Electric Picnic, headlined Whelan’s of Dublin and have shared stages with other Irish acts such as The Blizzards and Mik Pyro.
The night will also include live work from local born Street Artist Cowboys Davies.
