IF is an installation created by Scottish artist Angela Lloyd in memory of a young, close friend who tragically took his life following a long period of struggling with mental illness.
The rationale behind this piece is twofold: firstly, to raise awareness of the high mortality rates linked to impaired mental health and secondly; to facilitate a space that allows the universal recognition and sharing of the pain of sudden loss.
