A special Origami Workshop to mark First Fortnight and the Chinese New Year 2020. The theme 'Birds', a symbol of Hope, will lead us through the class.
Coming together, meeting, chatting and making in a fun, creative atmosphere can be of great value to our minds!  By focusing on the process of folding and revealing form with paper, we can reflect on our issues and in some small way transform them for the year ahead. In this workshop you will be encouraged to identify something that is on your mind and incorporate it in to the process, acknowledge it and take ownership of it. By suspending your creations with others, we give them flight and offer our worries the opportunity to move and change. By the end of the workshop, you will have completely transformed a simple piece of paper in to a beautiful work of art!
Parents, bring your children! Children, bring your parents!!
