Important Update!! After the site visits this morning it was recommended that we change the location of the sea swim to Sandycove Beach where the water is very calm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Looking forward to seeing everyone at 11 am. Sandycove dart station is only a 10-minute walk to the beach.

Looking for an exhilarating way to plunge into the New Year and shake off the post-holiday blues and turkey sandwiches? Then how about a fun swim on Dublin’s Killiney Strand!

Due to the enormous success and popularity in 2019, First Fortnight Festival, Clean Coasts in conjunction with Grown is hosting another Sea Swimming event which will take place on the 11th of January at 11am on Killiney Strand.
Sea swimming can have a positive impact on our mental and physical health. Why not take this opportunity to reconnect with yourself and enjoy the views of our beautiful coastline.

Warm clothes are advised. We will be providing hot refreshments post-swim. Please bring your own cup as we want to try and make it a zero-waste event. If you do not want to swim, you are welcome to participate in a short beach clean and enjoy the good vibes

This event is proudly supported by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

Meeting point is the Dart Station entrance onto the beach.

The best way to get here is by DART with the Killiney stop leaving you beside the beach.
