Make a Referral

First Fortnight accepts referrals on behalf of Children, Adolescents, and Adults. We also accept self-referrals.

Guidelines for Referrals

If you are making a referral on behalf of a child, adolescent or adult, please make sure they are fully aware of what our service offers. It is important that they wish to engage with us and be part of the decision to refer. Creative therapies tend to succeed when the person accessing the service is fully engaged and committed. They do not need to be good at art, music or drama to engage well with our service.

If a person is in active crisis, currently in the process of moving home or going through an on-going traumatic event it may not be the right time for them to engage in therapy. If you are unsure, please feel free to arrange a call with one of our therapists to discuss the referral.

There are two ways to complete a referral. Either follow the link below and complete an online referral or download our referral pack. Below you will find links to resources that will guide you through the referral process.
