Youth Mental Health First Aid training course
This Youth MHFA course is fully funded by Saint John of God Hospital. The value of each place is €350.00.
Mental Health First Aid Ireland is delighted to offer those working or volunteering with young people in the arts the opportunity to undertake Youth MHFA training. Participants will learn how to assist a young person (aged 12 to 18) who may be experiencing a mental health problem or a mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
Training will be delivered via Zoom by two accredited Youth MHFA Instructors. This is an interactive training with participant engagement encouraged throughout. Places are limited on this course so please only sign up if you are available for the full duration over the two days.

This course is not a therapy/support group and is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 to attend.
