Join the Gallery’s Transition Year Work Experience Students for an exciting event inspired by the Zurich Young Portrait Prize.
This January the National Gallery will be hosting a large range of events all created by young people, for young people as a part of their new Apollo Project: Programming for young people.
Join the Gallery’s Transition Year Work Experience Students for an afternoon of engaging activities and important conversations, organised and hosted by transition year students who recently completed their work experience with the Gallery Education team.
Coinciding with First Fortnight Festival, this event will explore themes such as portraiture, identity, mental health and young people, through innovative activities and installations including a worry-shredder, a portrait art project, and an advice library hosted in conjunction with mental health charities, ready to chat and listen to visitors.
Drop in at any time throughout the afternoon; no booking required.
