A First Fortnight favourite Therapy Sessions returns with a very special edition in the Workman’s Club. The beloved poet Stephen James Smith returns to MC and to curate the spoken word programming.
The line-up includes Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan, a Dublin-based writer, performer, and cultural consultant from India. Her work has been included in publications by Dedalus Press, UCD Press, Book Hub Publishing, Banshee, and Poetry Ireland.
Cursed Murphy, aka Wexford writer and musician Peter Murphy, has published two novels, John the Revelator and Shall We Gather at the River (Faber). He is currently at work on his third book and second album. His journalism has appeared in Rolling Stone, The Guardian, the Irish Times and Hot Press.
Ciara Ní É is Irish Writers Centre ambassador and was DCU’s Writer in Residence 2020. Ciara is the founder of REIC, a monthly multilingual spoken word and open mic night that features poetry, music, storytelling and rap. She has performed internationally in New York, London, Brussels, Sweden, and across Ireland.
Special guest curator Tolü Makay, renowned independent artist, singer and songwriter, will be carefully selecting some musical treats.
