We are all individuals with our own strengths and we all live in communities together. At this workshop for young writers aged 10 and 12, participants are invited to consider the themes of what makes us unique and what brings us all together.
We are all individuals with our own strengths and we all live in communities together. At this workshop for young writers aged 10 and 12, participants are invited to consider the themes of what makes us unique and what brings us all together.
Working with experienced authors and a team of Fighting Words volunteer tutors, participants will use their imaginations to create poems to express our differences as individuals and similarities as communities.
Important Points to Remember:
· Places will be allocated by lottery to ensure fairness
· Due to the high demand for places, we ask that children only within the age range apply.
· This workshop is FREE but places are limited and booking is required.
· Parents/guardians will be advised if your child has a place no later than 4.00pm on Tuesday, January 12th.
